Violence, Obsecenity in Cinema spoils children - Venkaiah Naidu

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister M Venkiah Naidu today expressed concern over violence and obscenity "becoming part of certain sections" of Indian cinema and urged film makers to come out with more development and peace-oriented scripts. He was speaking at the - meet the minister- programme in chennai. It was organised by South Indian Film Chamber of commerce. He asked the film producers to have self-censor. When they show violent and obscene scenes in cinema, they are doing injustice to the society, he told.
